rearend swap question

rearend swap question I'm trying to put a rearend out of a 99 m6 into my 98 a4. my rearend only has one plug on the center of the housing where the 99 has two plugs one on each end of the axle! is there any way to make this work?

This is covered in the sticky's, or at least could be pulled up with a search.
If I recall correctly should you decide to use this differential you will need to pull and mount the reluctor ring from your carrier, swap it over to the new axle, drill a hole in the housing and mount the sensor like it is on your diff.
The axle rings and ABS sensors present on the donor diff won't interfere with anything and I would just leave them alone.
