??SHIFTER?? I just got my Pro 5.0 shift "power tower" from thunder racing today. And it looks really long, but then agian I have never seen a shifter out of a car before. Is the "power tower" a "short throw" shifter.
Re: ??SHIFTER?? The term "short throw" refers to just about all the aftermarket shifters out there for our cars. Basically, if it's shorter than the OEM shifter, it's a short throw. So yes the Pro 5.0 is a "short throw". The Pro 5.0 is an awesome shifter!
Re: ??SHIFTER?? For the best shift geometry chop the threads 1 to 1.5 in. or do as I did get the MBA billet ****. The **** has threads that are in the top which creates the shorter throw.

Re: ??SHIFTER?? I love my Pro 5.0. I put some marking compund on the threads and put the **** on (to see how many threads I really needed). Then counted that many up from the bottom thread and cut it off there. This made my handle just right for me.
