Default rearend is talking back....

so a while ago i noticed when i was coasting down a hill at about 3mph when i heard "click click click" coming from the rear.....didnt really pay much attention to it b/c i have every intention of putting 373 gears in this winter and as of right now, the car has a WARRANTY but anyway, it seemed to go away...then as i went around a bend today i noticed it again and it was a bit louder and deeper.....not to sound dumb but i really have no clue how/if i broke something and if so...what did i break?

Do you run drags alot? 10 bolts can be weak. I would have someone stand outside of the car do a drive by and see if they detect a sound, It might be something easy like something made its way between your caliper and pad or a bad brake pad. Do you have stock rotors and pads, my dads car has ssbc on his stang and he started to hear a constant chirp, ending up being the pad was riding a slight higher over the rotor, and cuz the rotor was to the 16th of an inch exact in diamiter it was just scraping the brake pad where it wasnt wore. Does it happen when you let of the gas sussenly? Nothing when you accelerate?

hey... i thought i was the only person who had that problem. my car used to clik like a b****. i took it to a shop and the guy said it's the strangest thing he'd ever seen. haha, i was also puttin 3.73s in mine. I got my gears put in and it hasn't made the noise since. i thought it might be the limited slip additive. anyway, i had your same symptoms... click, click, click! at super low speeds and usually it was heard when rolling away from a complete stop. so i would do the gear thing like i did and it should go away with the fluids replaced and all. oh yea, one person did tell me it could be the clutches in the rearend. that also makes since, because they may not be operating properly when making turns. good luck!
