Tru-trac experiences
1. Seems to be much noisier in a positive gear noise kind of way. I'm not talking about the typical gear whine that you get with a ring and pinion set improperly, this is more a low speed noise like a second manual transmission in the back of the car. Anyone else have this ? Could it also be related to swapping to a adjustable BMR torque arm with poly bushing and just transmitting more noise ? Not overly objectionable, but definitely sounds like a machine

2. Seems clunkier, like on shifts, coast to drive, and going from reverse to forward. I know it's not the lash, becasue there is only .008" of lash. The tru-trac guys said this was normal, but I wonder why the 10 bolt wasn't like this with the Torsen ? Of course, could just be that the torque multiplication is so much greater with the 4.30's that it jerks harder now.
3. Traction is much better out of corners, it actually bites now. Only thing is, with the 4.30's, it's easier to overwhelm the tires

If you have a tru-trac, post of your experiences !

Well, I've had the tru-trac in my 8.8 now for about 6 months and it seems very different in several ways to my stock rearend, wondering if anyone else notices similar things. For example:
