Default New rearend??

I broke the reliable 10 bolt so im looking at new rearends. I know about 12bolts and 9". This new dana 60 by strange seems to be the way to go. some people dont like the whine. I see the dana 60 with a new chrome moly DS is cheaper than a 12 bolt. Why should i not go with the dana 60. this is by no means a DD mostly track and sunny day drives. i had 3:42s in a 2 series carrier and they would wine so i dont mind them and the weight isnt too severe and seem to be way more efficient than the 9" which i have ruled out for my application. Any input on these rears. I know there is alot of post on them but most are just about them being noisey. Has any one had any big issues with them like breaking. I plan on doing 373s also

Thanks guys

I heard that you have to modify you DS in order to use the Dana 60. Did you break your rear end on launch? if so how many RPM's do you launch at?

Yes it needs to be shorter, But i can buy a new DS and a dana 60 cheaper than a 12 bolt. I launch off idle and have a 2800 stall. Im going to restall to 3200 to 3500 soon.
