Default Ford 8.8 out of a mustang

Would i be able to put it in my car? i have a 98 Z28. One of my buddies is selling it for 100 bucks. he is parting out his mustang. Its an 8.8 with a 4.10 gear.

Also, how strong is the 8.8? i'm pushing around 450 rwhp with an a4

It's doable. You have to have the axle tubes from a stock 10-bolt welded up to the Ford center section. That's about all I know. Someone surely knows more.

Is it worth it for 100 bucks?

are 4.10's a bad idea in an A4?

I would pass on it in my opinion. It's more work than one would realize, and it's not worth it in my opinion. I'd just go for a 9" Ford.

...not saying that you have to take my advice, but I know 100% what is involved fwiw.
