Default driveshaft guru's needed

are 6sp driveshafts shorter then autos? And if so it must only be like a 1/4in. or so right? reason im asking is because i got a driveshaft loop but my driveshaft yoke hit the loop just barely in the front. I got a ls1 driveshaft in my lt1 car. But i dont know what ls1 it came out of, auto or 6sp. BUT if it was a 1/4in longer it would clear my driveshaft. So is my driveshaft a 6sp. and i got it in my auto car. Or is there something wrong with my UMI driveshaft loop?

Don't quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure auto and 6-speed shafts are the same length.

heres my problem...
This is why im wondering about the shafts. If it was a tad longer then it be mint. But its too "short" mabe? But i dont know if they even make um different for autos or manuals.
