need info on the new setup... just got the macs installed and next i am getting a ST3500 with 3.73's, my question is should i go with a shift kit at the same time.And if so i was thinking of trans go...any ideas-info would be nice
Re: need info on the new setup... The TransGo shift kit is a great addition so long as you KNOW that it's installed right. Many shops will only install part of the kit, yet charge you for the full installation. It will do more harm than good if it is not installed correctly, so be sure that you have a competent installer. My stock shifts were BAD, and a TransGo shift kit significantly shortened the shifts at part-throttle and WOT. If you have an '01 or '02, torque management will get worse with the shift kit in, and the only way to get around that is to have it deleted via custom tuning.

Re: need info on the new setup... Get LS1 Edit and a lab top, you can do alot to your car, and you won't need a shift kit, LS1 edit does the same thing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
