Default How to fit BMR relocation brackets on 9"

I keep seeing that people make the bolt in ones work, but what are you doing? I assume you cut the tab off for the shock and then weld them, is this correct?

There are certain ones you can buy for a 9in that should bolt right up. If you have some that came off a 10bolt it most likely will not bolt right up.

thats what I was wondering though, the weld on ones are the same as bolt ons, excpet the bolt ons have the tab for the shock correct? I just dont want to spend more money on LCA brackets if I can make these work out, it seems some people get them to work.

It's pretty easy to modify the bolt-ons for a stock rear to fit a 9 inch. Just cut and reweld the tabs. If you try to fit them up, you'll see how to do it.
