Re: squeel sound !! help! The chattering is the clutch disk grabbing and letting go in a fast on/off type cycle, I would guess. I have a rev-lok II and it squeals and chatters so I just try to slip it right about 1500 rpm and it doesnt do it. Try that and see what you think.

Re: squeel sound !! help! just for a second. Right when i turn of the key and the motor is shutting off it squeels for a sec. I think its coming from the beginning of the tranny. The tranny seems to do fine, shifts good and smooth.

squeel sound !! help! Ok, someone please help me get some ideas on what excatly or what to look for on this squeek. I can hear it in the car, and is diffently coming from slave/bearing/tranny??? Its something thats still turning when i shut off the car, so its something thats rotating/spinning when im neutral or at all times. Ive had it for awhile, i want to say since my clutch install. I have a cartek clutch and all the hydralics with it, all upgraded. I want to say bad slave or pilot bearing, but im not excatly sure. The clutch is driveable, but chatters bad on takeoff and reverse and hits real hard sometimes and other times acts like it slips on start, Nothing like the cartek clutches i have sein people post about. Ive played around with the MC quite alot , i got it now where its grabbing alittle lower then before, cause before it grabbed almost at the end of the pedal, but as much as i adjust it, it dosent seem to help much. Please, if anyone could help, it would be really helpfull since im about up in arms with this thing as of now. Thanks.
