Default How long?

just installed some 373s on my 00 WS6 A4, and was wondering how long i should wait before romping on the brand new gears?, ive driven about 60 miles so far through about 3 heat cycles, just dont want to mess anything up....

anyone else because ive heard everything from "gears dont require a break in" to 500 miles....

I'd go 500 miles as well, which will help to keep the gears as quiet as possible. The 10 bolt case tends to flex though, and more than likely the gears will get noisy once you've gotten on it hard several times. Bob
