Strange 12 bolt question I'm about to buy a 12 bolt from a friend, my car is 3 channel, the rearend is setup for 4 channel. I don't care about losing ABS, it doesn't bother me. My question is what all do I need to make this work in my 3 channel setup? Will it just bolt in and be fine and throw an ABS code or will it just not work?
Need to know soon before I drop the cash.. TIA

I'm no expert but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. They're both connected by 2 LCA's, 1 PHR and a tq arm so it should bolt up with minimal trouble. You'll definitely get the ABS light though.

To make it work in your car you would have to put a reluctor wheel onto the carrier, tap the top of the housing and add a sensor there. Going from 3 to 4 channel is easier than the other way around. Might be better off just getting an ABS delete kit from SJM.
ABS would be eliminated completely. My kit with line lock should be shipping out Monday from SJM. Then I'll get to figure out how I'm gonna deal with the lights, although I'm sure it will involve removing some bulbs.
