girdle and stud kit?

girdle and stud kit? ok so i was standing in line at the store yesterday, and i started looking at magazines. i picked up camaro performance (first time i've seen it) and saw an article about beefing up the stock rear end, with a girdle and stud kit i believe. is this worth it? can any one give me more info on this.

I've got the t/a kit and everthing works great. I also welded the tubes and change the crush sleeve to a soild sleeve. Those mods have made my 10 bolt hold up to ALOT of hard launchs, and i havent had a single prob. or whine.
I guy i know did the same mods and he was spraying out the hole on wrinkle walls for a hole race year before it broke, those runs where in the 10.s
