Wheel bearings...

Hi,

I need to install wheel bearings for my friend's 9" install..

Just wondering if this is something I could do myself or if I need to have it done by someone...

Any help would be much appreciated!

If you have a press, you can do it your self. If you don't then take them to a machine shop or most any garage.

Just out of curiosity... How much does a decent press cost?

Will I need to take the whole rearend to the shop? Or do I just need to take the axels?

Sorry never installed wheel bearings before...

A decent press = $300-$500. You just need to take the axles, brake brackets off old rear, and brearings. Just make sure they press the bracket on right.
