Default Since when do Strange 12-bolts...

...come with already welded on sway bar brackets? I'm certainly not complaining...just surprised that it came with the brackets right off the pallet. Anyone else with a Strange rear care to comment?

No kidding! I was fully expecting to have to shell out some bucks for a new set of brackets...it was a GREAT surprise. If you've installed your rear, do the stock length sway bar end links work, or do you need longer ones?

On my S60 the stock end-links would not bolt up until I put the rear at normal ride height.

I think the end links need to be about 2" longer. Rear suspension is tight now when you push down on rearend. I'm going to look for a longer set to see if that frees it up some. The car feels alot stiffer driving around and its also effecting the launch at the strip.

Anyone else notice this?

I'll do some measurements of the stockers, order some longer ones from Summit, and see what fits. Can someone tell me the fluid capacity on the 12-bolt? I'm assuming about 2.5 quarts...

The sway bar brackets on the strange axles mount the sway bar 2" lower on the axle. I measured the end links that I have on the car and they are 4 3/8" between centers of bushings. I ordered some that are 6 1/8", that should but things back to normal.

We here at DLS also install BMR swaybar brackets onto all of my assemblies to help make it easier for our customers to bolt in and go.

What part number, and where did you order them from? I'll measure mine when I get my spacers tomorrow...

Any one try to put Hotsckis rear sway bar kit on strange 12 bolt? The brackets that are welded on axle are to far out and when you try to bolt on sway bar bushings they end up on bend of sway bar.

My buddys Dana 60 came with them, and he wasn't too pleased as he cant use his Spohn drag bar with them. He will simply just cut them off and use the much beefier ones that came with his drag bar.
