rear end fluid?
can i get them at autozone?
and how the hell do i change the fluids...
sorry i have never changed the rear end fluids only tranny and oil? lol
2. You could get something from Autozone, but 99% of what they have is crap.
3. Pull the rear cover off and drain. That way you can get a look at the condition of what is still alive in the differential and what may need to be serviced. Clean surfaces of the housing and cover... re-seal, add lube and friction modifier.
Remove the cover and drain the fluid. Clean the surfaces, apply gasket sealer, and install the gasket/cover. Fill from the passenger's side (plug uses a 3/8" ratchet).
I bought a pump at Auto Advance that fits in the fluid bottle and lets me pump straight into the diff.
Hope this helps.
