Spool How many actually drive their car on the street with a spool. No 2 miles down the road and back. I mean driving the car to track & back home or on a car cruise.
Spool can be driven on the street. Definately not for a daily driver but if the car is going to see less than 5k a year then in my opinion it would be fine. It will eat tires for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a few snacks but you should be able to get 5k out of one set a year if your not burning them off everywhere.
I will be ordering a spool for mine when the new rear goes in next year and I plan on driving it about 20 miles each way on the hiway to the cruise spot, and the track is about an hour drive for me.
I also plan on purchasing tires for it every year.

I drive mine about 40 miles a week. The only problem being when you obviously turn but I don't do much turning unless I have too. Not very friendly on wet pavement but I don't drive much on we pavement. I say go for it.
i daily drivem ine with no problem besides increased tire wear. if you run on a regualr street tire no problems,. i ogt about 3k out of a set of bfg drag radials though. you kind of notice the spool under very low speed full lock turns in parking lots and such. honestly its not that bad to me
