Gear question Just wondering what a set of 3.73's would do for an A4 02 TA? Both negatively and positively on the drag strip and on everyday driving, will it be different? Or is it better to go with 3.42's?
Re: Gear question ok...i have a m6 but from watching and listining to what my buds with autos say,the 3.42 is better.my bud jeff with a 99 ss went with 3.42, then a year later went with 3.73, with this jump he only gained a FEW hundreds his car used more gas and his rpm's were higher around town. well....jeff has 3.42 back in his car. going from stock to the 3.42 he gained 2 tenths. maybe more auto guys will respond like i said i drive a m6. i hope this helps you, good luck.
