Not happy with 1LE mount
Not happy with 1LE mount Just put the mount in and i'm not impressed. Shifter moves just as much as it did before, now it even vibrates at idle. I also get a nice vibration through the center counsole under hard acceleration, worse than i did with the old mount. What the hell?

Re: Not happy with 1LE mount The added vibrations are due to the harder rubber. It is a trade-off for less transmission movement.
I did notice that the stick did move @1.5" up and down with the 1LE mount. This I cannot explain, but mine did it, my friend's does it, and your's does it, so I'd write it off as normal.
My car broke the 1LE trans mount <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> , so I replaced it with a poly one from Energy Suspension. The vibrations increased a lot, but the trans doesn't move, plus I haven't broken it yet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
