12 bolt rearend

How hard would it be to buy just any old 12 bolt rearend and make it fit for an 02 camaro?? What all would I have to do to it to make it work??

More work than it's worth I think. IMO there is a reason that it costs $2,000 to just bolt right in with no problems...not to mention it's new, not 22 years old and rusted over.

make the spring perches...shock mounts, torque arm mount, come on, not even worth it

Check out the G-Force four link conversion. There is a thread about it in the Handling and Braking section. By using the G-Force thing, you can eliminate the tourque arm, wich is really the only thing that causes F-bodies to require custom rear housings when swapping rear ends.
