In happened yesterday I just got done putting my stoker motor in a 2001 Camaro M6 roller that I bought. I took it for a drive not really pushing it hard and about 3-4 miles down the road the rearend locked up on the freeway. The rearend is locked solid I had to have a wrecker drag it up onto a rolloff. This morning I looked at the rearend and there is a small amout of fluid dripping from it. The pinion has some play in it. I have deritmined that I need to replace the rearend. I have a 1996 rearend with w 3 channel set up. Can I swap the 4 channel sensors into the 3 channel rear or are the totally diferent. Also does any one have a 3.42 or 3.73 4 channel rearend for sale in the NW Arkansas area.

just make sure the hole for the 3-channel ABS sensor stays plugged with either the old (unpluged) sensor and you should be good...

If your car is 4 channel now, you will have to use those axles with the reluctor rings on them and swap them in the 96 rear. You can mount the Traction Control sensors on the 96 rear but you will have to grind on the sides of the sensors to get them to sit flush on the new rearend.
You will also need to swap your backing plates onto the new rearend, all of the things I mentioned are really straight forward and easy, just takes a few tweaks to make it work.
