Default Cryogenics. . . what do you guys think?

http://www.diversifiedcryogenics.com/motorsports.htm

(there's a ton of other places that do this work, so speak up if you know of a good place)

$100 bux to cryogenically treat a ring & pinion.

Have you guys heard anything about this process, like that it doesn't work?

I wouldn't expect the ring & pinion to be as strong as a 9" or 12 bolt. . . but it'd be worth it if it was a little stronger.

Thanks for any insight.

Yes, cryotempering is a very effective means of strengthening a part. It's not cheap, so you have to weigh the benefits versus the cost and see if you really need it. They take whatever part, and freeze it way the heck below freezing, and the part is then allowed to slowly warm itself to the ambient room temp. It works my realigning the metal, and making it more uniform if you were to look at under a microscope.
