longer wheel studs

longer wheel studs I was wondering how much longer of a wheel stud I would need, and where I could order them. My lug nuts are only catching a few threads, the mechanic that installed my 4.10s brought the issue up with me.
I'm running 17x9.5 z06 wheels, with the 56mm offset I believe.
Also wondering if the thread pitch is usually the same, or should I also order new lug nuts at the same time? Thanks -Corey

What are you trying to accomplish? If you are trying to be NHRA legal, then the engagement you need is the equal to diameter of the stud. So if you have 5/8" studs, your lug nuts only need 5/8" engagement or about 9 turns of the lug to meet the safety requirements.

Well this is just safety in general, I don't think I get even 9 turns right now. I just want to get a longer stud, maybe and inch longer or so? Just wondering who makes them or who has done this. Also if I will need new lug nuts or not.
The guy who installed the gears was looking at them, he figures if I get traction I'm going to snap them.

Thunder Racing sells the ARP wheel studs which is what I'm using. The 2.5" studs in the rear are about .5" longer than stock for reference. They are a very nice wheel stud.
