Bad differential? i have a detroit tru trac diff for my moser 12bolt with 4.11s, i think i have a bad diff. its loose and sloppy, and clunks everytime it locks up while driving. also with the cover off, i can turn the ring gear with my hand about 45degrees back and forth without it locking and turning the axles. after 45degrees the axles turn, turn it the other way about 45degrees then it locks again, and back and forth. do i have a bad diff? im getting my rear rebuilt and new gears setup and need to know if i need to replace the diff or not. any input?
