Axle noises and fixes?

Axle noises and fixes? Could someone who knows the stock f-body 10 bolts outline some common noises and cures for me.
Two things I am mainly interested in..
1. A ratcheting/wobbling sound when slow speed coasting (clutch disengaged) and making a turn.
2. An unpleasant sound when i hit sharp bumps. If I had to make a wild uneducated guess.. its like whatever holds the axle in the center of the housing is loose and there is play causing this noise.

they all make some clunking noises when coasting at slow speeds, i think its the ring gear driving the pinion, there is a 0.010" backlash between the two gears and causes a little noise as spins the drive shaft, the sound is emulated through the aluminum drive shaft, they all do it, first time I noticed it i thought the U joint was bad. GM reccomends if you get a "rusty screw" noise to add some posi additive to the rear through the vent.
