Broken wheel stud im a dumbass! OK i put my drag wheels on yesterday and didnt look at my tourque wrench spossed to be at 75 lbs it was at 140lbs. Two turns and snap no more stud!! How do i fix this? Im sure it can be tapped and died but who does this in houston tx?

Re: Broken wheel stud im a dumbass! Yeah, Mike it's not that big of a deal. I have a few extras if you can't find one locally. They are pretty standard from 96-up. Just drive the old piece out and work the other in place and use an impact to pull it into place. It's a little bit of a pain, but nothing to lose sleep over. Good luck!

Re: Broken wheel stud im a dumbass! thats a easy fix.broke one before tighten too much and then snap.took the tire off and replaced it.wham new wheel stud.or ask your buddy to help you.
