Swapping rear ends

Swapping rear ends I'm in the middle of buying a 9 rear end out of a 94 formula that i'm hoping to put in a my 99 TA. Now i got abs/tcs and the 9inch has neither. I know i have to switch the backing plates but how much of a headache is it going to be with abs/tcs. I can live without both since i'm getting a good price on the 9inch and its setup the way i want it except for the abs/tcs. I've heard you can go from 4channel to 3channel by switching the axles but i dont know very much about all that. Any advice or info would be very helpful.
