when does stuff break?
i just turned 9K miles- ets are mid 11s with high to mid 1.5 60's. i am NA
transmission- i have a vig3200 in the stock tranny
rearend- i have a stock 3.23 rearend with a girdle/stud kit
Torque arm- stock
DS-stock steel one
i have aftermarket shocks, lca, and subframes.
should i replace the stock TA first? i hear of people breaking those with slower ets than im pulling <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
will i gain much going to a decent alum. ds verses the steel one?
Transmission rebuild doesn't take that long. OEM parts are very cheap. Probably $100 for most the stuff that breaks first. 1 day of work.

$99 torsen, $50 used gears, 3hrs later and you got a new rear.
Torque arm- stock
Stock ones are almost free. Instal under 1hr.
DS-stock steel one
$20 and install in 5min.
i have aftermarket shocks, lca, and subframes.
So what are you worring about? Break it. Big deal. Only those people who have everything installed with their credit card should worry about breaking stuff.
