Default Gears and DS for Dana

I have a 98 SS camaro T56 daily driver that is about 600 rwhp procharged, not suprisingly I blew up the stock rear. I plan to replace it with a Strange Dana 60 and have two questions.

1. I would like to hear some reasons for or against a 3.56 or 3.73 gear set. I plan to use one or the other. Again this is primarly a street car that will only occasionally see the track.

2. Any reccomendations on a driveshaft to go with this rear end that will hold 600 HP for a reasonable price.

thanks

Default common gear ratio's for power adder combinations

Here are some common gear ratio's we have recommended with low and high boost application's over the last year.

Supercharged 5-12 lbs. of boost, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10.
Supercharged 13-20 lbs. of boost, 3.25, 3.42, 3.50, 3.60, 3.70.
Supercharged 20lbs. plus 3.00, 3.25, 3.50.

all depending on tire size and either an A4 or M6 transmission was being used.

As for driveshafts we offer one rated for 1000hp for $345.00.

3.73 would probably work best for your application.
