Tranny problems

Tranny problems okay...i'm driving down the road, minding my own damn business, when all of a sudden...my A4 transmission won't shift into 3rd or Drive. I have the other gears, but not those two. After the transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd, my car revs up and won't shift. Does anyone have info to help me. Thanks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

just trying to get some info, but im sure you have checked the tranny fuild right? Just make sure you check when the trannies good and hot.
also will the car not shift at all? or is it more the converter not locking up?

Re: Tranny problems the converter is stock, and the MAF ends are as well. The fluid was checked when the tranny was good and hot, and everything was okay. And the car will shift through every gear except 3rd, and drive.
