break in for gears?

Default break in for gears?

is there a break in for gears? if so how many miles? im getting my gears put in this weekend and was planning on going to the track later that night. btw the gears are 3.73 btw

its heat cycles. not miles. The only thing milage will pretain to is maybe after 500 or so, change the fluid and check wear.

the car should be driven easy for 20 minutes varing speed, let cool then drive again.

I did 3 heat cycles before hitting the water box.
