This has happened twice to me. During my burnout when I shift from 1-2 the left wheel stops spinning, so i shift to drive, get staged and the tranny is stuck in second, even if you put the shifter in 1st. i have to turn the car off for a few minutes and then its fine. BTW, my carrier is out of a 95, and it has seen its better days.

So, what causes this? Is it anything to do with the one tire spinning?
