Next time you spray, use ATAP to check for any pending trouble codes. There may be something lurking, that after a couple miles the computer determines is now fine, and does not set an SES code.

Other theory - since you are running dry shot:
1)the IAT gets frozen or still reads cold and that prevents lock-up until it warms back up and thinks the air temp is warm enough to allow it.
2)Just a WAG,the MAF get real cold and that somehow effects the load calc.

When I first sprayed, I ATAP it. Didn't check it for codes, but will the next time I spray.

That made sense. But last night after the car was sitting for about an hour, I got on the freeway cruise to 70 mph. Wouldn't lock up for a few miles. Turned off the engine then started it right back up. Locked up fine.

This morning it worked fine. Hmm.......

Could my Mallory Window Switch cause this?

Is the problem more of a computer problem or tranny problem?

Thanks for the input.

Default Nitrous & High Stall TC - No Lockup?

After spraying a few times. My TC will not lock up right away. Sometimes it will take a minute or two.

Normal? Or pending problem? It shifts fine.
