if i happen to get Drag Radials, how long will my rear last and what is the max rpm i can lauch at. i have stock rear. i want better launch but i am scared to break it. will it break on street tires eventually someone told me this with time it will break.

 

it sure will break I'm on my 3rd rear end now w/ the gears whinning like hell 1st rear end went the same day my centerforce clutch was put in it sheared off 2 of the bolts that hold the ring gear plate to the diff. and just so happened the ring gear picked up 1 of the bolt heads and drug it up the rear end cover and split it into almost 2 seprate pieces. 2nd rear end the diff completely f#cked up I couldnt even take a turn without the car popping like hell it was so bad it sounded like some1 was actually running into the car it was terrible START SAVING $ NOW for a new rear especially w/ the drag radials i had a set and lovd them only thing was i got about 1800 miles outta them that sucked for $160 a tire.

 

this is the million dollar question... will it break? YES! when it will break? who knos! i kno a guy running 10s on his 10 bolt... its basically luck.. if ur lucky it wil last longer than others..if ur not.. than it will prolly break soon.. hopefully it dosnt.. but defenalty the way you treat it has alot to do with it aswell... the more u beat on it.. the fatter chance u have of it breaking.

 

Automatics get the 10 bolt to last longer. Manuals may make it one day, or three months. It is hard to say how long it will last. It will break, just a matter of time. Bob

 

drag radials will break that 10bolt real easy! i snapped my axle and twisted my diff on a 3 grand launch!! If and when you do break it do the smart thing and take that out and put a 9in in there
