Now it states that will only take the GM T-10 four speed or the like, but I believe this is the same bolt pattern that Jerico uses. After all the Richmond 5 and 6 spds are just the T-10 with 1 or 2 extra gears.
I'm looking for a similar solution, but I'm considering G-Force's clutch assisted 5 speed as well. I've been told by a couple pro drag crews that the G-Force will handle more torque... we'll see. The price is about the same... both $$$ as hell. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Both 5 spds I'm looking at are 1:1 final drive ratios which is really annoying me... lol. I've asked G-Force if they can run an overdrive gear in 5th since the ratios are available for 4th, but have no response yet. I can do some creative gear selections in the tranny matched with a TALL gear in the rear to keep cruising speed on the highway at decent RPMs. Basically I'll mimic the T-56 final gearing w/ a 3.42 rearend (though I want to tighten 2nd), but I have to run something like a 2.73 rear. Unfortunately the tallest I've seen for a 12-bolt is 3.08... that kind of sucks!
