how is this in any way going to effect the transmission blowing??? and what line pressure are you talking about?

GMAF is calibrated, so it should not lean you out as much as ported ends. Use ATAP and check your LTRIMs. If they are near zero or negative, you're fine.

BTW, the issue was that ported ends can cause faster clutch wear, not a blow-up.

ahh i see.

i forgot to mention that im a rookie to LS1's still and have lots to learn...

383 SS, I was reading some posts about the MAF ends leaning out the air/fuel misxture and in some way it was relaed to A4 transmissions wearing away too soon (8000 miles) and was wondering if the aftermarket larger diameter MAFs would do the same thing.

I have been hearing some bad things about MAF ends or atermarket MAFs. I have a granatelli MAF. Is this causing any problems with line pressure?
