How'd that 200-4r trans work out? Or how is it working out? Any passes yet to test it?

So far it is an incredible tranny, but I'll try to be objective here:

1) No passes yet - been weather and now a conflict. Will run it a week from Sunday
2) Shifting is very, very firm. Enough to jolt the car. Gonna love that at the track <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
3) Lost about 2 mpg from the M6. Thought it would be worse than that.
4) Like any auto, it is somewhat slower from a roll, but from a stop it is <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
5) The only thing that has not been perfect are the shift points - it can shortshift a little. This is not an issue, though, as it is quite OK to manually shift it, and it responds very well to that.

I'll let everyone know how it does at the track. It doesn't seem to mind nitrous on the highway, that's for sure.

Greg let us know if you go to the track next week. Me and dad would like to come check it out. I got a feeling your gonna be running a wee bit faster than last time we met ya at the track <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> .

Glad to hear ya still like it so much. I thought you'd have raced it by now, but I know the "hurry up and WAIT!" thing all too well. Thanks for the update though.

Oh, I think you'll see the biggest difference with nitrous. I gained E.T. on motor ('bout .3), but it scrrrrreamed on the bottle. Hope you get there soon so we can hear the results. Obviously, street driving isn't a problem, but I knew all that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
