Despite knowing what my TCI converter looks like on the inside, I am very happy with the track results I saw today. I dropped 3.5 tenths off the best time the car has ever run - great air and an unnatural 1.87 60' on F1s - and 6 tenths off what had been the best run this season. I am getting 1.67-1.68 60 foot times, 7.9 1/8 mile times and within 1 MPH of the best traps this car has made in the past.

Great job Chris. The feeling of a 1.6 sixty foot is awesome. Hope to see you in the 11s soon! BTW, do you have a website with a list of your mods?
Take Care,
Kevin

Kevin, nothing on the website, but heres a quick list:

Overall I can't complain with the numbers considering the rather short list of mods, particularly still running an LS1 intake and exhaust manifolds. I think with headers and some tuning the car would easily see consistant 12.2s.

Nice, Chris!
We just got the TCI 4400 installed... We're still having some tuning issues so it will be a couple of weeks before we get some real numbers on the car (as in, having correct shift points, etc.) but we're taking it to Super Chevy this weekend for the car's first ever 1/4 mi passes. We had some spinning 1.61 short times with this converter the night we got it installed, so we hope to fall on over into the 1.5x short times this weekend. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
