rear end whine??
rear end whine?? is it commen on a 2000 T/A ws6 6sp to have a rear end whine to it ,if not what could cause it,looking to buy one and owner states its commen on them,

My rear end is stock. I did a fluid change around 50k. It was whining almost 2 years before that.
How would I know if it's the gears making the noise or the bearings?
Is it worth it to try and find out? I don't really want to spend 2k on a new upgraded rear end at this point as the car doesn't see the track very often and I'm running street tires.
