Yes, a flare nut wrench will keep you from rounding the tranny cooler line nuts. They are soft.

Unfortunately I don't remember the sizes. If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, I think you can get them there. (10mm? 11mm? 12mm?). Or run to Sears and pick up the 9-10-11-12-13-14 and you'll be all set.

Other than that, a piece of plywood with a long bolt through it that you can bolt to your floor jack, to put the tranny on. Everything else is normal hand tools... Well, about 3 ft of socket extensions REALLY helps (with some wobbles). May look funny, but it gets those top bolts easy.

You don't use wrenches on the cooler lines. there are little wire clips sort of like an E-clip that hold the lines in. I use a long scribe with a 90 degree bend in it to pop the clips out. Once the clips are out, the lines pull out of the tranny. To reinstall, put the clips back in before you install the tranny, then just push the lines back in and they will lock into place. You will need a 13mm swivel socket and about a 3 foot long extension to get the top bolts out of the tranny.

Yea, the tranny lines use 'quick disconnect' fittings. It's best to leave the lines attached until the tranny is dropped about 3-4 inches. That way you can actually reach them. You have slide the little plastic pieces out by hand, then you can get to the clips with a 90* pick. I normally use 48" extension(s) to reach the top and top left bolts. You will have to have everything else undone so the tranny hangs down a bit, then stick the extension OVER the y-pipe, that way you'll have the right angle to get the top bolts. A 13mm wobble socket is a must.
