Broken/cracked tranny mount???

Broken/cracked tranny mount??? Car is a 99 a4, stock gears, stall etc.
I was driving around yesterday just running some errons and when I came back out to my car I went to put it into gear and it made a loud clunk and a jerk. Almost like you were nuetral dropping it. The 1-2 shifts were rough as hell and the 2-3 were snappy as well.
At this point I bring the car home and check out the tranny fluid which is OK and hook up ATAP to see what tranny temps are and they are right at 180. I have a B&M 24,000 GVW cooler.
So I shut the car off. Went inside and was gonna worry about the problem later. Came back out to the car to go to my buddy's house and the problem is gone. No stiff shifts or clunks. Tranny shifted normally.
It happened once more that evening but with the "clunking and hard shifting" the tranny wouldnt gear down into 1st with the shifter in 1. With everything working as advertised you can downgear the tranny etc etc like its supposed to work.
Im thinking it could be a bad mount shifting around causing the slack in the driveline. Or could this be something else in the tranny going bad?
