HELP! Need tranny advice ASAP! I have the stock 4L60E with a Pro Yank 3600 Extreme converter and external cooler. I am pushing upwards of 600 rwhp on spray. My 1-2 shift is awesome, clean, quick, and crisp! However my 2-3 shift sucks(if it even shifts)! I know I need a built tranny and am working on that right now. My question is... Can I put in the Corvette servo and a shift kit to raise line pressure for a temporary fix? The built tranny won't be done for a while so I am in need of something that will work until it is done.

Re: HELP! Need tranny advice ASAP! i might be wrong, but from my research on this problem, (which i also have) the 98+ 4L60e already has the corvette servo. If you want a better one, go to www.transmissioncenter.net they have a heavy duty one.
