Default gears

hey i did a search for gears but never found what i was looking for....

i drive an a4 98' trans am ls1 with headers lsx intake, and 90mm throttle body i am trying to decide on some gears but i dunno what size i am thinking 3.73 as it is a daily driver but any other suggestions? and what is a good company to go through? thanks

The general opinion is 3.73 for an A4, N/A.

3.73 is a great all around gear for an A4. It even worked pretty well with my TH400. Although the RPMs on the hiway were a bit too much.
Having said that I went to 4.10s.
The TH400 and a steep gear is just too much fun stoplight to stoplight.

3.73 gears are a great all around gear for an automatic. Bob
