Default Do I have a problem?

I am experiencing some difficult shifting from 2nd to 3rd during WOT runs (it has initial resistance then goes in gear). I recently had the Mcleod kevlar installed and have had zero problems. The engagement point is about half way but has more "slop" at top when cold and goes away when warmed up. Is this just a cold weather syndrom or do I need to adjust the master. My installer told me that eventually I would need to adjust the master once the engagement point starts coming up. If any thing the engagement is lower now than initially <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
Any help here would be greatly appreciated...
