need advice on TC
need advice on TC I have had my 2800 VIG stall for about a year now..when I first bought the stall I did no research on what size or what brand to buy. I saw a add in a magazine for VIG and gave them a call.. They asked me what mods I have done to my car (none) and they suggested a 2800. After I installed it did what they claimed and dropped .5 sec.
Now, I have done many more mods.. (see sig) I have heard YANK 4400 is an awesome stall but not sure if it is for me. Could someone look at my mods and give a suggestion on which one (size and brand) to go with?

Re: need advice on TC The Yank Pro Thruster 4400 is an awesome converter, but more for racers running much higher rpm than stock. From the looks of it, you're still running stock cam and valve springs. That said, you'll need a converter with lower stall and shift extension to work best withing your powerband. My suggestion is to either have your 2800 re-stalled to a Vig 3200 (actually stalls around 3800) or trade it in on the newly released Yank Super Stock 3800. Both will drop you another .15 in the quarter without much loss in driveability. Go with a big cam that can turn to 6800+ rpms and you might be a better candidate for a YPT4400 (or YPT4000 with the N2O).
