Rear end making noise, Any ideas?
My rear has just started making a funny noise. The best way I can descride the noise would be what a untrue bicycle rim draging on the brake without the rubber would sound like.
I don't think it is the breaks as it is no more or less pronounced when slightly riding the breaks. However it is more pronounced on deceleration than keeping a constant speed or accelerating (Letting off the gas and coasting)..
A friend mentione it could be a bearing. Any thoughts?

Is is a low tone that gets deeper as you decelerate? I'm getting that noise in my stock rear end with 38K miles. I'm going to try changing the fluid first and then go from there to see if it may need to be realligned or something.
