Decel noise

Decel noise Well I installed a Richmond 3.42 and a new Richmond install kit. I have some gear whine but I have another noise that I thought was a warped rotor. I had the rotors cut and put new pads so I know it is not a rear rotor now. The rear is making like a whoop - whoop - whoop sound when coasting down. I noticed when I pulled everything back apart the bearing closest to the pinion seal had not been wearing evenly in the race. There was one spot where it was low and had not made contact. It was exactly where there is a drain back for fluid in the case. The biggest issue I think is that I could pull the bearing that has the shim under it off with my hand on the new pinion. That race was fine but the bearing coming off so easily makes me wonder if that could be the cause of the noise. I pressed everything on the first time and the bearing went on really easy but I did not try to pull it off at that point. When I looked at the bearings and races I had about 20 miles on everything. Does anyone think the bearing issue could be the cause of the noise?
