changing gears
changing gears i currently have 2.73 gears in my a4 rearend. will the 3.73 gears be a direct replacement or do i have to change the carrier also. And do they make a replacement for my 10 bolt rear that will bolt up nicely.

you can buy 2 series 3.73 gears from just about every sponsor. yes they sell better rearends that are a direct bolt in to replace the 10 bolt (i.e. 9",12 bolt and the Strange S60) but you are going to pay atleast $2K for one
are you making alot of power? do you go to the track all the time? while at the track do you run sticky's?......if you answered "no" to these questions dont worry about a 2k dollar rearend right now....
as for the gears, youll like them, i did the switch and loved them....motive's are a good brand to go with
