Default 12 bolt v/s 10 bolt

I know that the 12 bolt is a much stronger differential and thus it takes more to pull it. On an average, how much more power do you guys think it would take to pull the 12 bolt v/s the stock 10 bolt?

Do any of you guys have a before and after et that I can use to compare with. I just do not want to put in a 12 bolt for strength and loose an abundance on et. I know that if I launch hard it will make up for it, but what if I do not plan to launch extremely hard?

Not plannig to launch extremely hard? Why not? That's what 12 bolts were made for. As far as efficiency, they compare to the 10 bolt, but slightly less, although they weigh more.

I think a 12-bolt with 3.73 gears will cost about 8-12rwhp. I`ve got this set-up and love it. Launch as hard as you want. Also I have a A4 with stall. I believe my A4, Vig 3200, 12-bolt with 3.73 gears cost me about 30-35rwhp. Hope this helps! O yea, I went with a 3200 stall because I spray 100 wet shot which makes it flash about 36-3800. And she hits hard
