Th-400 Converson
Th-400 Converson How do you guys mount your torque arm? I've heard there is a converson kit where you can use a 3rd gen cross member and use a 700r4 tailshaft on a th400. But I've haven't gotten the complete detail. Anyone got any info? I really don't want to buy another torque arm at the moment considering what I'm paying to do this. Thanks.

Re: Th-400 Converson I just made one out of the stock mount and some angle steel I bought at home depot. It bolts to the stock tranny crossmember. I decidede to swap back to the T56 with a Mcleod twin and still use that mount I made. It's stronger than the driveshaft because a 5k rev limited launch with 6psi broke the drive shaft tube into 3 peices last friday but the mount is still there.
